  1. Austin OG seafood market and restaurant institution since 1938. Old school style. That's OG is you get.

  2. Austin OG since 1952. Tex-mex classics. Bob Armstrong queso dip is an institution. Mexican martini. Awesome patio.

  3. Austin OG Thai favorite. Pad thai and all the soups are so so good.

  4. Probably the most famous BBQ place in Austin. Presidents visit. You have to plan in advance - lines form early in the morning and wrap around the block. Bring chairs and a cooler and make a day of it while you wait. Can also order togo a month in advance to skip the line.

  8. One of the OG ramen spots, and considered some of the best ramen in Austin. Several locations around town. Can't go wrong with The OG.

  9. Austin OG tex-mex from the 80's. By far one of the best dips there is - creamy jalapeño ranch. The food is good - but ya gotta go just for the chips and salsa - and ask for the complimentary creamy jalapeño ranch. Several locations around town.

  10. Incredible Argentine steakhouse and fare. Fun vibe. Definitely try the empanadas and something from the grill (with chili sauce of course). Also before or after check out the Milogna Room - speakeasy style bar underneath the restaurant.

  11. Come ready to eat. Typical Brazilian Steakhouse style with constant meat delivery, bomb salad bar, and great service. Better than Fogo.
